How we work

Wigle spends most of his time in Africa. Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, is the main base. From there it is easy to travel the region. In many countries we work with independent and experienced consultants, advisors and farmers. We never outsource accountability. People we hire operate under the responsibility of Vondeling Africa, unless otherwise agreed.

We actively use the Agriculture Counselors of the Dutch Embassy but are also engaged with Agriculture Counselors of other Embassies.

We know the fertilizer, seed and chemical operators on the continent and will introduce you where and when needed. The same applies for buyers, off takers and processors.

Market information, weather data, production statistics and political analyses are the bases of our work. We are close to the source of this information.

As the reader knows by now; we are not native English writers or speakers! But we do communicate in English, Dutch (even Friesian!) and are happy to try our best in Afrikaans, Portuguese and German. Annelies is fluent in Spanish and good in Portuguese.

Legal structure & banking details

Vondeling BV is wholly owned by Acacia BV. Wigle Vondeling is the sole owner of Acacia BV. Both legal entities are registered in Nederland. The articles of association of both Vondeling BV and Acacia BV are in Dutch and available on request.
